“I don’t know what I want from life. But I am sure its not you”. These were her last words before she left. It has been six years although I have moved on nothing has changed much. I can still smell her shampoo in the bathroom. In a lonely December morning I can hear her singing in the kitchen baking cookies. Its some times amusing how time flies yesterday I was the luckiest men on earth and today I don’t know where to start. I met Sabrina when I was she was in her late teens. When I saw her for the first time I knew she was a rebel could not be tamed. If I were to describe Sabrina in one word it would be MAGIC. She came to the party with her parent and me with mine. Its very unconventional in an Indian family to ask a girl out. But I went out of the way and asked her. “Sabrina is it. That’s a beautiful name” as a response she looked up into my eyes and passed by as if ignoring my gesture. She didn’t go out with me it was against her principles. How great are some people with whom you always feel at home you are always happy. But once when they leave you, your life is never the same. I was never rich I never inherited a single paisa from my parents. My real dad I don’t remember. My mother latter on remarried and my step father was rich. However I had a constant reassurance from my step sisters that his fortune was not on sale.
